The Catholic Secretariat of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi regrets to announce the death of Rev. Fr. Billy Blazio Pedegu of the Diocese of Dedza.

The Diocese of Dedza on Saturday 30th October 2021, launched a group of Sts. Charles Lwanga and Benedetta in Ntcheu parish after the demands from animators of children for two years.

On Saturday 16th October Bishop Peter Adrian Chifukwa of the Diocese of Dedza, ordained three deacons into the priesthood. On the same occasion, Fr Andrew Kandodo celebrated his Silver Jubilee in the priesthood.

The Episcopal Consecration of Very Rev Fr. Peter Adrian Chifukwa as Bishop of the Diocese of Dedza will take place on Saturday 31st July 2021 at Bembeke Demonstration Primary School grounds in Dedza.

His Holiness, Pope Francis has appointed Rev Fr. Peter Adrian Chifukwa as Bishop of Dedza Diocese. The announcement has been made today, the 8th May 2021 at 12:00pm at the Vatican City.
