On Saturday 16th October, all roads led to Kanyama Parish, some 20km from Dedza Boma. The Bishop of Dedza, Right Rev Peter Adrian Chifukwa, ordained three deacons into the priesthood. On the same occasion, Fr Andrew Kandodo, General Spiritual Director at St Peter’s Major Seminary, celebrated his Silver Jubilee in the priesthood.
The three new priests are Fr Sosten Office from Bembeke Parish in Dedza, Fr Humphrey Chafukira from Kanyama Parish in Dedza and Fr Martin Tsuteya from Nsipe Parish in Ntcheu.
