The Catholic Diocese of Dedza is celebrating a remarkable academic milestone following the release of the 2026 Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examination results. St. Kizito Minor Seminary has emerged as the top-performing minor seminary in Malawi, leading a stellar national showing for Catholic formation centres and private institutions across the region.
Adding to the diocese’s academic triumph, Marist Secondary School secured a coveted spot among the top 10 private secondary schools nationwide. Nationally, five out of the country’s seven minor seminaries ranked among the top ten private schools, highlighting the strength of Catholic education and holistic formation.
In a message of celebration, the Pontifical Mission Society (PMS) of St. Peter the Apostle expressed deep gratitude for the extraordinary dedication shown by seminarians, formators, teachers, and support staff.
