The office of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the Diocese would like to announce to the public that this year will hold a diocesan gathering of children at Nzama parish in the deanery of Ntcheu. The children from all the parishes will arrive in Nzama parish on the 16th of September and depart on the 18th of September 2022.
On 16th September 2022, we will have an opening Mass at 3:30 pm. The main celebrant of this mass will be the parish priest of Nzama parish. Then the children will have entertainment.
On 17th September 2022 we will have the following activities:
a) morning mass 06:00 am led by Diocesan PMS director
b) Talk and group discussion on sacraments by Fr. Innocent Kanyumbu
c) talk and group discussion on the Bible by Fr. Andrew Kandodo
While in the afternoon we will have the following activities
a) preparation of the closing Eucharistic celebration
b) quiz on the Bible
On the 18th of September 2022 closing day. We have the following activities
a) closing Mass led by His Lordship Rt. Rev. Chifukwa 09:00 am
b) visiting Nzama health centre and see the patients, especially children who are sick immediately after Mass 11:30 am
Finally, immediately after lunch children will depart to their respective parishes.
On the final day, we expect to be with the following visitors National Directors of PMS from *Malawi* and *Slovakia* and their mission teams.

As of 3rd September 2022, four parishes from Lakeshore deanery have registered their attendance out of five, four parishes from Ntcheu deanery out of five and three parishes from Dedza deanery out of seven.
