Today, Saturday, 10th October 2026, Msgr Dinh Anh Nhue Nguyen, OFM Conv., Secretary General of the Pontifical Missionary Union in Rome, is leading a missionary animation and formation session for pastoral workers and lay faithful of the Diocese of Dedza.
The session aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the Church’s missionary identity, renew their commitment to evangelisation, and strengthen their role in promoting missionary cooperation and solidarity.
As the Church celebrates the Centenary of World Mission Sunday (1926–2026), this formation offers an important opportunity to reflect on our shared responsibility to proclaim the Gospel and support the Church’s mission, both locally and universally.
Formation is not secondary to mission; it is mission itself.
