It is a tradition that in our Parishes in the Diocese of Dedza, the Bishop administers the SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION to the legitimate candidates every year.
In Mua Parish, Lakeshore Deanery, Rt. Rev. Peter Adrian Chifukwa administered the SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION to 641 Catholics on 22 August 2025. It is also very interesting to note that the Pastoral Team of Mua chose the Diocesan Children’s cloth as uniform during that function.
Normally, Mua uses the Diocese of Dedza Cloth or PMS cloth in such functions. In the absence of the Diocese of Dedza cloth, it was acceptable, and we encouraged them to use the Diocesan children’s cloth, as most of the candidates during confirmation are Holy Childhood members. Kudos, Mua Parish!
